There might be a number of reasons why you are reading this VISIT US message on this website at this moment. The reason we created this page is to tell you about the love of Christ, the price He paid for you and the eternal future He has planned for you. You are most welcome here and please feel free to stay a while, there are links to our social media pages in the footer of the page, for you to visit and to check out what we actually do.

You might be in TRANSITION between churches or moved recently, or maybe you have not joined a church yet. The reason for fellowship at Word Collective is for us to be your local church, does not matter where you find yourself. We offer believers a place to connect with powerful Spirit-filled fellowship, building them up in their most holy faith to change the Spiritual atmosphere in their communities.

An online church is a convenient way to fellowship should your LOCATION not allow you to get to a local church or when health challenges restrict you from travelling. Still it is important to be a member at the local church and therefore Word Collective is your opportunity to join the church and submit under the covering and anointing of the house.

Some believers cannot attend a local church due to their WORK schedule and therefore an online church with the freedom to watch on-demand might be an answer to belong. At Word Collective we connect digitally in the natural but also in Spirit and in truth.

On Wednesday evenings at 19:00 we host CIRCLE OF GROWTH small group meetings via Zoom with a trained facilitator in every digital small room, to ensure order and free discussion and prayer to take place. On our contact page, indicate your preference to receive the weekly Circle of Growth Notes, on the word to be discussed in the meeting, via email.

VISIT US on SUNDAY for a word in AFRIKAANS at 10:00 and in ENGLISH at 18:00 with the same word used as discussion topic in the Circle of Growth meeting, of the week, to encourage members to revisit the word and to freely discuss the word as they live their lives.

At WORD COLLECTIVE, as our name says, we are a collective group of God fearing people, in love with God and in need of a Saviour as well as the assistance of an indwelling Helper.
The word COLLECTIVE means:

⦁ denoting a number of persons considered as one group or whole
⦁ involving all members of a group as distinct from its individuals

I have been involved in ministry at various levels for most of my life. Serving our Lord is a passion that I have the privilege of sharing with those I encounter in this world, recognizing that while we live in it, we are not of it. I have had the opportunity to participate in and initiate different ministries, as well as to contribute to church planting.

I consider myself fortunate that God has blessed me with a God-fearing wife, with whom I can serve the Lord and pray together during both good times and difficult ones. Together, we understand our calling in the mission to prepare the bride of Christ as we journey with the Father toward the day of His second coming. Recognizing that we are works in progress ourselves, we invite you to pray about joining us in our mission as disciple-makers. We eagerly anticipate serving those in need and celebrating victories alongside fellow believers.



Valerie van Zyl

To me, life is centered around loving Jesus, serving others, and sharing the message of salvation. I have been involved in many facets of descipling people, mentoring, Christian counselling and group leadership over the years.

For over 25 years, I’ve been dedicated to ministering to women, both individually and in groups. Witnessing their spiritual growth and emotional healing brings me immense joy, as they transform into ‘Women after God’s own heart’ and embrace their unique destinies.

I am deeply grateful to the Lord for blessing me with a husband who is a devoted and fully committed to serve God with all his heart. Admiring him as a strong leader and forerunner, I am looking forward to our new journey with Word Collective Ministries.


